A flood elevation certificate is performed under the framework set by FEMA and used primarily for flood insurance purposes. If your property is located near or within a flood zone, and you are thinking about getting flood insurance, most likely you will be asked to contact a surveyor to get one of these. We conduct a site visit to determine what flood zone you are in (if at all), and we will collect all of the information needed to correctly fill out the FEMA supplied elevation certificate form.
